Cleaning-up the environment with 21st century technology with the installation of our simple sewage treatment systems — the modified Rotating Biological Contactor (RBC) Natural Wastewater Treatment Systems (NWS) — which are available in four series encompassing 4 different sizes that range in capacities from 1,000 gallons to 250,000 gallons per day per shaft. Our unit can be designed, to treat wastewater, to meet the most restrictive effluent criteria and the highest levels of nutrient removal.

Besides having one of the lowest operating costs compared to other wastewater treatment systems, our NWS is easily and economically constructed using a small footprint that can be expanded in the future. The site-specific design flexibility and ease of installation makes the types and sizes of applications endless.

OUR TEAM

IMPORTANT LINKS

Ted Warrow,
Mike Warrow
& Sam Greene

Our in-house management team consists of Theodore (Ted) Warrow a Civil Engineer with forty five years experience, Michael (Mike) Warrow a Registered Civil Engineer with over thirty years experience, Sam Greene (Masters in Education) with over forty years in Marketing and Sales.

Ted Warrow a civil engineer who for 45 years was heavily involved in all phases of construction from residential to high-rise. Having always been responsible for the method of handling wastewater on his projects, Ted became aware that due to different locations or soil conditions there were many different solutions to the problems of wastewater.

In 1995 while trying to help a friend with his wastewater problem Ted discovered that most of the so-called solutions on the market were very costly to operate, had a really bad odor problem and because of frequent shut downs were discharging raw sewage to the environment. Since that time Ted has devoted his entire time designing and perfecting a better system and by utilizing and improving the modified RBC technology feels that the definitive wastewater treatment system is here, “The NWS by Waste Stream Technologies, LLC”.

Mike Warrow is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan, and has been practicing in the field for over thirty years. He has experience as a resident engineer for large structural steel and reinforced concrete structures. He has extensive experience as well in designing steel and reinforced concrete structures, especially those dealing with municipal and industrial wastewater treatment facilities. He has experience with numerous computer aided design and engineering analysis applications as a consulting engineer. His most recent experience has been as a sales executive for the development of large customer accounts in the use of computer aided design, knowledge based engineering, product visualization, engineering analysis, manufacturing engineering, collaboration, requirements management, and program management software applications and implementation services. These activities include initial customer contact at middle management and executive levels, discovery of issues, and alignment of solutions, preparation of proposals, purchase justification analysis, and negotiating final agreements.

Along with Ted and Mike in the quest to clean-up the environment is SAM GREENE, the Marketing and Sales Manager. Sam has a Masters degree in education and was a high school teacher for eight years until his accountant informed him in 1972 that he would be better rewarded if he changed his part time job of selling real estate to his full time profession. In 1973 Sam became a Real Estate Broker and over the next 27 years was involved in the development, building, marketing and sale of dozens of community developments in Michigan and Florida.

Ted and Sam crossed paths in 1998 and Sam became intrigued with what Ted was trying to do since he too had run into the pollution of lakes, streams and the environment in both Michigan and Florida. In 2001 Sam joined Ted and now both have the same goal . . . to clean up the environment with 21st century Technology.
